# Can I issue a gift card as a gift or donation?

## Questions

- I would like to issue a gift card to a guest as a gift. Can I do this using ROLLER?
- I would like to donate a gift card to a fundraiser. How do I do this using ROLLER?

## Solution

To issue a gift card as a gift or donation (to a fundraiser, for example), follow the steps below.

1. From Venue Manager, go to **Products** > **All products**.
2. Search for the gift card product you want to gift or donate.
3. Select the **options menu** (3 dots) for the product, then select **Issue new gift card**.
4. Select the gift card **value** and the **quantity**.
5. Enter the purchaser details (your own or your venue’s). Then select **Next**.
6. Select the **Delivery method** (physical or digital gift card). The methods available here are based on the gift card product settings. To learn more, read the guide [Create your gift cards](/v1/docs/create-your-gift-card-products).
7. Enter the **Recipient details**.
8. Next, choose the **Payment type**. As this gift card is going to be a gift or donation, select **No payment required**.
9. Choose **Next**. Then select **Done**.

The gift card can then be gifted or donated and used by the recipient at your venue.
