# Enable PayPal payments on your checkout with Braintree (legacy)

This article shows you how to enable a PayPal payment type for ROLLER accounts using Braintree.

1. Confirm that the Braintree merchant account is [eligible to accept PayPal payments](https://developer.paypal.com/braintree/articles/guides/payment-methods/paypal/overview#availability)
2. Integrate Braintree account with the PayPal business account. Refer to these [instructions](https://developer.paypal.com/braintree/articles/guides/payment-methods/paypal/setup-guide)
3. [Log a support ticket with ROLLER](/v1/docs/contact-roller-support) and let our team know that you're ready to switch on PayPal payments
4. ROLLER will enable this as a payment method and let you know once this is complete and ready for testing
