# How do I see how many birthdays our guests have in a certain time frame?

Seeing how many guests have birthdays in a specific timeframe helps you plan outreach and birthday promotions. Birthday bookings can be high value, so timely engagement can lift revenue and strengthen guest relationships.

## Solution

Use guest segments in Venue Manager to filter guests whose birthday falls within a selected timeframe (eg a month, the next 2 weeks). The segment results give you the count of matched guests, and you can export a CSV if you need the list for marketing.

## Create a segment for guest birthdays

1. From Venue Manager, go to **Guests** > **Segmentation** > **Segments**.
2. Select **Create new segment**
3. Enter a name for your segment.
4. Select **Add** under **Segment rules**.
5. Select **Birthday** from the **Attribute** dropdown menu.
6. For past birthdays, select **Is on specific dates** from the drop-down menu, then select **Between** and set the desired date range. Repeat the rule for previous years if you want to include all birthdays in that month regardless of year.
7. For future birthdays, select **Is within the next** from the drop-down menu, set the value (eg 2 weeks) and select the desired date range.
8. Save your segment.
9. Once results appear, select **Export CSV**.
10. Download the file from your **Notifications** panel.
