# How do I see how many guests attended today?

There are two quick ways to check today's attendance: the **Dashboard** gives you an at-a-glance figure while the **Attendance report** breaks the numbers down by product, device and more.

Attendance in ROLLER is a live count of the tickets your staff redeem at POS. A guest who redeems more than one ticket is counted once per ticket, and the figures rely on staff checking tickets in accurately at POS.

## View today's check-ins on the dashboard

1. From Venue Manager, go to **Dashboard**.
2. In the **Daily summary** section, make sure the date selector at the top right is set to today (today is the default).
3. Check the **Check-ins** metric for the number of tickets redeemed so far today.
4. To see how busy the venue is expected to be each hour, based on booking start times, view the **Expected attendance chart**.

## See today's attendance in the Attendance report

> To open the **Attendance report**, you'll need the **Can access guest reports** role permission, which administrators and managers have by default.

1. From Venue Manager, go to **Reports** > **All reports**.
2. Search for and select **Attendance**.
3. Set the **Date** filter to today (the report defaults to yesterday).
4. Select **Apply filters**.
5. Review **Total redemptions** for every redemption at POS, or **Unique redemptions** to exclude repeat redemptions of the same ticket.
