# How do I use my S1F2 card terminal without Wi-Fi?

## Introduction

Sometimes you may experience a Wi-Fi outage, causing your S1F2 card terminal to lose connection to the local network. This prevents your terminal from receiving required transaction data from ROLLER POS to process payments.

## Solution

If your local Wi-Fi is unavailable, your S1F2 card terminal can continue processing payments using cellular data. The S1F2 supports 4G cellular connectivity, allowing it to stay connected to ROLLER POS during a Wi-Fi outage.

> The S1F2 requires a SIM card to use cellular data. The SIM card comes pre-installed in the terminal. If you need to confirm that a SIM card is present, consult [this article](/v1/docs/why-isn-t-there-a-sim-card-in-my-s1f2-card-terminal-box).

## Switch your S1F2 from Wi-Fi to cellular data

1. Select **Settings** on the terminal.
2. Select **Network**.
3. Enter **0166** when prompted for the passcode.
4. Select **Wi-Fi** and toggle Wi-Fi off.
5. Select the back arrow to return to the **Network** menu.
6. Select **Cellular** and confirm the status is **Active**.
