# Monitor monthly bookings from the calendar in Venue Manager

The bookings calendar provides a detailed view of all bookings and redemptions on a monthly basis. It also offers settings to customize the displayed products and bookings.

> For bookings to display in the calendar, you must select the products you want to show from the **Add products** selector at the top right of the page.

## Show bookings in the bookings calendar

1. From Venue Manager, go to **Bookings** > **Calendar.**
2. From the **Add** **products** selector in the top-right corner of the calendar, choose the products you want to display. **If no products are selected, the calendar will remain empty.**

The calendar will display Monday to Sunday and show bookings for the products selected on each day for a month (4 weeks).

Each day in the calendar view displays the first 5 bookings. Where there are more than that amount of bookings, select the **More** link to show all bookings for the day and the redemption count for each booking.

## Filter and customize views

The top bar of the calendar allows you to select filters and customize the results displayed.

| **Date selector** | Select the starting date you wish to view bookings from. The calendar will display starting from the day (or week) chosen. |
| --- | --- |
| **Morning, Afternoon or Evening** | Choose to see bookings which start in the morning (12 AM to 11:59 AM), afternoon (12 PM to 5:59 PM) and evening (6 PM to 11:50 PM). |
| **Monthly and Daily view** | Toggle between daily and monthly calendar view. The daily view takes you to the [daily capacity](/v1/docs/monitor-daily-capacity-and-redemptions) page in Venue Manager. |
| **Product selector** | Display bookings in the calendar which contain the selected product(s) or [product categories](/v1/docs/create-your-product-categories) if configured for your account. |

Once filters have been selected, the page will update to show in real-time the bookings over a month's view based on the filters selected.

## Create a booking from the calendar

1. Select the calendar filters (including the product/s), then select the date for the booking to open the right-side booking panel.
2. Select the **Availability** tab. Alternatively, hover on the date of the intended booking and select the **+** sign on the top right of the date. This will open the panel with the **Availability** tab.
3. Select the product you want to create a booking with (all products show up).
4. Choose the start time ([for session passes](/v1/docs/create-your-session-pass-products)), the ticket types and the number of tickets.
5. Select **Create booking with {x} items** to open the [new booking flow](/v1/docs/create-and-manage-bookings-from-venue-manager) with the added items.
6. Complete the booking.
