## Questions answered

- What is the average order size from our online checkout?
- How many bookings are we getting online each month?
- Which products are selling the most through our online checkout?
- What percentage of our total net revenue comes from online sales transactions?

> [!NOTE]
> Revenue in this dashboard shows net revenue, which is recognized revenue after tax taken out for the the last 12 months (default timeframe), for all your progressive checkouts (online checkouts and food and beverage checkouts). In ROLLER, net revenue is recorded when guests redeem their tickets at POS or booking items expire, in line with accrual accounting. > [!NOTE]
> The data shown in this dashboard is related to online checkout order size. It only includes the value of transactions processed for a booking via online checkouts (eg party deposit for a party booking). It excludes payments made for the same booking via other payment locations (eg amount owing for the party paid at POS). It includes payments made via all progressive checkouts (online and food and beverage).

| Metric | Definition / calculation |
| --- | --- |
| Average online order size | A line chart showing the monthly average order size placed via online checkouts. It includes bookings with fully paid or partially paid booking statuses. |
| Online bookings by month | A line chart tracking the volume of online bookings by month. It includes bookings with fully paid or partially paid booking statuses. |
| Monthly online sales by product type | A stacked bar chart breaking down the monthly online sales revenue by product type, such as session passes, memberships and party packages. |
| Online sales by product type | - A pie chart shows the net revenue for payments made via online checkouts by product type. - Net revenue figures show the value of payment transactions made via online checkouts only (eg party deposit) and excludes any payments made for the same booking by other payment locations (eg amount owing for a party at POS). |

## Filter the timeframe

The dashboard defaults to the last 12 months, but you can customize the date range to focus on specific periods that are most relevant to your requirements.

1. To choose a timeframe, use the **Date** filter at the top of the page. It allows you to select preset days and timeframes, or specify custom dates and date ranges.
2. Remember to select the highlighted **Update icon** to refresh the data.
3. Your filtered results display.

Modifying these filters will only temporarily affect your current view and will **not** affect the filter settings of other users.

- The next time you load the dashboard the default filters will return.
- Or, you can select the **options** **menu** (3 dots) in the top right, then choose **Refresh** filters.

## FAQs

**Why do net revenue figures for online sales differ between dashboards?**

The Online checkout revenue dashboard only includes payments made online (eg party deposits), excluding payments made later at POS. It measures average online order size for products purchased online.

The Revenue analytics dashboard includes the total booking value of transactions initiated via the online checkout sales channel, even if the remaining payments were completed in other sales channels.

This is why figures may not match when comparing the same month.
