# Redeem a membership in Venue Manager

This article will show you how to redeem a membership for a guest in Venue Manager.

## Redeem in Venue Manager

To redeem a membership in Venue Manager, follow the steps below.

1. From Venue Manger, go to **Bookings** > **Create booking**.
2. [Create a new booking](/v1/docs/create-and-manage-bookings-from-venue-manager) for the guest.
3. Before taking payment for the booking, select the **Order** tab.
4. Select **Add discount** and make sure **Code** is selected from the dropdown.
5. Add the **Membership number** in the space provided.
6. Select **Save** to apply and redeem the membership. You can then take payment.
