# Sell fixed-price memberships at POS

This article outlines the process for how to sell a fixed-price membership product at POS.

## How to sell at POS

To sell a fixed-price membership at POS, follow the steps below.

1. From POS, select and add the membership product to the cart. If you want the membership to have a start date in the future, change the calendar date prior to adding the item to the cart. The start date determines when the guest can redeem the membership.
2. Select **Add guest** at the top of the cart to complete the booking holder's details. This is **not** mandatory; however it's strongly recommended that you add guest details for membership purchases. Then select **Apply**.
3. If a **waiver** is required, select **Continue** to attach the waiver(s) to the membership items.
4. Select **Pay** and select the tender type to [take payment](/v1/docs/sell-items-and-redeem-discounts-and-memberships-at-pos) and complete the transaction.
