# Set up Zebra ZD410 for sticker printing

## Introduction

Use this guide to install a Zebra ZD410 label printer and print sticker tickets from ROLLER Point of Sale (POS).

## Requirements

- A Zebra ZD410 printer with power supply and USB cable
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer with administrator access
- Sticker media loaded in the printer
- [ROLLER Connect installed](/v1/docs/install-roller-connect) and the POS device signed in

## Install the printer and driver in Windows

1. Load the sticker roll in the ZD410 and close the cover.
2. Power on the printer.
3. Connect the printer to the computer by USB. Allow Windows to detect the device.
4. Install the Zebra driver using one of the options below:
  1. If prompted by Windows, choose the **ZDesigner** driver for **Zebra ZD410**.
  2. If you have Zebra Setup Utilities, open it, select **Install Printer**, choose **ZD410**, and complete the wizard. This will install the ZDesigner driver.
  3. Open Settings then Bluetooth & devices then Printers & scanners. Select the Zebra ZD410 entry, choose Printer properties, then select Print Test Page. Confirm the test page prints correctly.
5. Calibrate the media so the printer detects the sticker length and black marks:
  1. In **Zebra Setup Utilities**, select the ZD410 then **Open Printer Tools** then select **Calibrate Media**. The printer will feed a few stickers and stop when calibration is complete.

> [!WARNING]
> If Windows installed a “Generic” or non‑Zebra driver, reinstall using Zebra Setup Utilities so you can access all print settings.

## Configure products for sticker printing

For each **session product** you want to print as a sticker ticket:

1. Edit the product configuration and scroll to **Advanced settings**.
2. Under **Alternate ticket printing**, tick **This product uses alternate ticket printer**.
3. Select **Save**.

> [!WARNING]
> Sticker printing is only supported for **session passes**. Do not enable alternate ticket printing for **standard passes**. ROLLER Connect will stop working if you try to print a sticker for a standard pass.

## Set Windows printing defaults for the sticker printer

1. Confirm you can print a Windows test page as in step 1.
2. Go to **Settings** then **Bluetooth & devices** then **Printers & scanners**. Turn **Allow Windows to manage my default printer** **off**.
3. Select your sticker printer entry then choose **Printer properties** and select **Change properties**.
4. Open the **Advanced** tab and choose **Printing defaults**.
5. In the **Options** tab set:
  - **Paper format**: **mm**
  - **Orientation**: **Landscape** if your stickers match the left image example, **Portrait** if they match the right image example ![A paper on a printer AI-generated content may be incorrect.](https://cdn.us.document360.io/23700755-951c-4b69-8afe-ec8b33c6c689/Images/Documentation/14560031811343.png)
