## Publish changes to the existing waiver

When updating an existing waiver you can choose to expire all existing waivers or only save the waiver.

1. From Venue Manager, go to **Documents** > **Waiver** > **Waiver details**.
2. Select **Unlock to make changes**.
3. Make your [changes to the waiver content](/v1/docs/create-a-waiver) and any settings.
4. Select **Save and publish**.
5. Choose if you want to **Expire all existing waivers** or **Only save the wavier**.

| **Expire all existing waivers** | If the waiver has changed considerably or there are new legal requirements, you can expire all existing waiver holders so guests have to sign again. If selected, all guests who have signed a waiver previously will need to sign the new waiver. **Important: Expiring all existing waivers will invalidate every waiver that has previously been signed. These guests will need to sign a new waiver before participating in an activity again. This cannot be undone.** - Export a list that includes the email addresses of all expired waiver holders. - Copy the link to your updated waiver agreement. - Use a third-party email tool to email all guests, requesting them to sign the new waiver. - Paste the online waiver link into the email. Refer to the guide [View and manage signed waivers from Venue Manager](/v1/docs/view-and-manage-signed-waivers-from-venue-manager) to learn more. |

| **Only save the waiver** | Save the updates you have made to the waiver for new guest waivers without automatically expiring all active waivers. Existing signed waivers will **not** be expired. They also are **not** updated to reflect any changes. |
