# View gift card details and balance at POS

If your guest comes into your venue with gift card, you can pull up information from their gift card ID using POS.

From POS, select the **Gift card tab** in the top navigation bar.

In the search bar, type in either the booking name or the Gift card ID and the results will show:

- Gift card holder's name
- Gift card ID
- Remaining balance

If there is more than one option, select the gift card you're looking for to expand and the record will display more information such as:

- The booking holder's email address
- Date the gift card was issued/purchased
- Date of expiry
- Purchase history and deductions (what they have bought using the gift card)
- Remaining balance (in bold)
