# Why isn’t there a SIM card in my S1F2 card terminal box?

## Introduction

When you receive an S1F2 card terminal, you won’t find a separate SIM card in the box. The S1F2 comes with the SIM card already inserted in the terminal and is ready for setup.

In some cases, the SIM tray may appear empty at first glance, but the SIM is installed internally.

## Check if your S1F2 has a SIM card installed

If you want to confirm that a SIM card is present:

1. Make sure the terminal is powered off.
2. Slide the back panel down to open the battery compartment.
3. Remove the battery using the secure battery hook.
4. Check the bottom-left SIM card slot to confirm the SIM card is inserted.

> [!WARNING]
> If your terminal does not have a SIM card installed, [contact ROLLER support](/v1/docs/contact-roller-support) for help.
