We've improved Venue Manager’s login experience, and upgraded security with multi-factor authentication (MFA).
MFA adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a second form of verification, like a code from an authenticator app or email when you log in. This helps prevent unauthorized access, even if someone gets hold of your password.
This guide walks you through logging in for the first time, setting up MFA, and logging in going forward.
Log in with MFA for the first time
If your venue has MFA enabled, you must set it up before you can access Venue Manager.
- Enter the email address you use to log in to ROLLER.
- Enter your password.
- Scan the QR code using your preferred authenticator app to set up MFA for your login.
- Enter the one-time code from your authenticator app into Venue Manager.
Log in after MFA is enabled
Once you’ve set up MFA, your login process will include an extra verification step.
- Enter your email.
- Enter your password.
- Choose how to verify your identity:
Authenticator app (recommended)
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or 1Password.
- Copy the one-time code and enter it in Venue Manager.
Email verification
If you prefer, you can receive your MFA code via email.
- Select Verify by email instead of scanning a QR code.
- Enter the code sent to your inbox.
FAQs
Why is MFA required?
MFA strengthens security by making it harder for unauthorized users to access your account. Even if someone steals your password, they won’t be able to log in without the additional verification step.
Can I disable MFA?
Only venue administrators control MFA settings. If your venue has enabled it, all users must set it up.
What if I lose access to my MFA method?
Ask your administrator to reset MFA for your account. You’ll be prompted to set it up again the next time you log in.
What if I don’t see the MFA prompt?
If your venue hasn’t enabled MFA, you’ll only need to enter your email and password to log in.
