A party booking refers to a reservation that includes a party package product.
Actionable insights
- Assess the value guests are getting from party packages.
- Identify opportunities to improve party offerings to increase spend per head.
- Determine if there are specific months where guests tend to spend more or less.
Access the report
The permission Can access Analytics is required to view dashboards and reports. Administrator and manager system roles have this permission enabled by default.
- From Venue Manager, go to Analytics > Reports.
- Search for and select Party spend per head by month.
Interpret the visualization
- The line chart in the report shows the average spend per guest for party bookings over time.
- The y-axis represents the spend per head in dollars and the x-axis shows the months.
Regularly review this report to monitor increases or decreases in party spend per head and opportunities to improve party package offerings.
Filter the report
The report comes with pre-set filters that can be customized for a more focused analysis.
- Select Filters at the top left of the report page.
- Review and understand the default filters currently applied.
- Modify the filters using drop-down menus, calendars and entry fields.
- Remove filter values by selecting the X to the right of selected items.
- Select Run to update the report with the new filters.
Any changes to filters are temporary and will revert back to default upon reopening the report.

| Booking Status | Adjust the filter to view results for different booking statuses. The default filters are fully paid and partially paid bookings. |
| Min Booking Date | Adjust the time or date filters for the scheduled booking date. The default is in the last 12 months. |
| Average guests per party | Adjust the average number of guests you want to report on per party. |
| Parent product name | Choose which party package products to analyze for specific party offerings. By default, all party package products are included. |
