Now the bulk of the set up is done, it's time to get ready to sell your bowling experiences.
Sell your bowling products through your online checkout for guests to book ahead, and at POS for staff to sell in venue.
Before you begin
Before adding your products to your sales channels, make sure you’ve already set up:
- Your bowling lane resources.
- Bowling products and linked them to a schedule.
- Bowling packages (optional).
- Set up lane-based pricing if applicable for your venue (optional).
The following instructions are for venues using progressive checkouts. If your venue uses legacy checkouts, see the guide Create your checkouts [Legacy]
Add your bowling products to online checkout
Edit your online checkouts as normal to add the newly created bowling products. Some tips:
- Add a new section in your checkout: create a new section for bowling and once created, use drag an drop to move re-order the section. This is the order shown in your checkout to guests. If you wish to promote your venue's new bowling products, push the bowling section closer to the top of the list so guests see this immediately when they visit your checkout.
- Use tags to manage: add products to the section by the bowling tag If you've included the product tags in the setup process (optional, but recommended).
- Reorder products based on priority: within the section, you can drag and drop the arrangement of the products within the section. If you wish to promote your bowling packages, and higher spend per guest it helps to position it at the top where guests will see it first.
- Image thumbnails: check all of your products have eye-catching images to display on the checkout and are in the dimensions 640 x 390 pixels (width x height). It's worth testing all images uploaded on mobile to ensure they're optimized for guests booking on their phones.

Add your newly created products to POS devices or device templates as normal. Some tips:
- Create a new menu for bowling products: keeps POS menus easy to navigate.
- Rearrange POS tiles: organize the menu to keep your most popular products first to reduce scroll time for staff.
