ROLLER iQ can now update bookings in your venue through iQ Actions. Instead of opening Venue Manager to find the booking, you can simply ask ROLLER iQ to update a booking on mobile or desktop.
ROLLER iQ confirms every change with you before applying it, so you stay in control of what happens to the booking.
How iQ Actions works
Currently, iQ Actions can make the following updates across standard passes, session passes and stock products.
- Look up a booking and review its details
- Update the date or time of a booking
- Increase or decrease the number of guests on a booking
- Add a pass or stock product to an existing booking
- Make booking changes on the go, from mobile or desktop
Every action follows the same simple flow:
- Ask ROLLER iQ to find or update a booking using a Booking ID, guest name, or date.
- ROLLER iQ surfaces the booking in the chat so you can confirm it’s the right one.
- ROLLER iQ proposes the change and shows you a summary of what will happen.
- Select Update to apply the change, or Cancel to discard.
If the request could match more than one booking, ROLLER iQ will ask you to confirm which one before proposing a change.
What you can do with iQ Actions
Look up a booking
Ask ROLLER iQ to find a booking using a Booking ID, guest name or date. ROLLER iQ will return the matching bookings in the chat so you can select the one you want and review the details before making any changes.
Example questions:
- Find booking 12345
- Find the booking for Sarah David on June 14
- Show me all bookings for this Sunday
Update the date or time of a booking
Move a booking to a new date or change the session time.
Example questions:
Change booking number 12345 to Saturday at 2pm
Move Sarah David's 2pm booking to 3pm
Update the number of guests on a booking
Increase or decrease the number of guests on an existing booking.
Example questions:
Add two more jump passes to Sarah David's 2pm booking on June 14
Remove one guest from booking 12345
Add a pass or stock product to a booking
Add a standard pass, session pass or a stock product to an existing booking.
Example questions:
Add a child ticket to this booking
Add a party pack to booking 12345
Tips to get the best results
- Include a Booking ID or guest name so ROLLER iQ can find the right booking quickly
- Be specific about what you want to change (for example, the date, time, or guest count)
- Always review the summary before selecting Update
- If ROLLER iQ surfaces the wrong booking, refine your request with more detail
FAQs
Can ROLLER iQ make changes without me approving them?
No. Every action requires your explicit confirmation before it is applied. ROLLER iQ will always show you a summary of the proposed change and wait for you to select Update.
Can I use iQ Actions on mobile?
Yes. iQ Actions are designed to work on both mobile and desktop, so you can update bookings from anywhere in your venue.
Which product types are supported?
At launch, iQ Actions support standard passes, session passes (where appropriate), and stock products. More product types will be supported over time.
Can ROLLER iQ process refunds or take payments?
Not at launch. Payment-related changes and refunds are not yet supported through iQ Actions. You can cancel a booking through ROLLER iQ, but any associated refund needs to be processed in Venue Manager.
Can ROLLER iQ update multiple bookings at once?
Not at launch. Each action applies to a single booking. Bulk updates are on the roadmap.
Are booking changes audited?
Yes. Every change made through ROLLER iQ is recorded against the booking, including who made the update and when, the same as any other change in Venue Manager.
Who can use iQ Actions?
Anyone at your venue with the Can use ROLLER iQ permission and access to the relevant booking workflows in Venue Manager. iQ Actions follow the same role permissions as the rest of the platform.
