Collect zip or postcodes at POS
You can configure POS to prompt your staff members to record your guests' zip or postcodes for each booking they make at POS.
Where the zip or postcode is non-numeric, your staff will be required to use the device's keyboard.
When your staff process a new booking at POS, they'll be prompted to add a zip or postcode before selecting Continue to complete the booking.
Configuration
To configure this setting in POS, follow the steps below.
- From POS, Select More in the bottom left of the screen.
- Then select Settings > Device.
- Enable the following device settings: Skip "New Guest" details and Require Post Code in "New Guest" details.
- Select Save.
Report on captured zip codes
Once zip or postcodes are being collected at POS, you can access this data in your reports:
Booking Zip Code Export
- From Venue Manager, select Reports > All reports.
- Search for or scroll down to find Booking Zip Code Export and select it.
- Choose the date range to report on, and optionally select which Products to filter by.
- Use the exported .CSV to understand where your customers are coming from and identify key market areas.
Guest Data Export
- From Venue Manager, go to Guests > All guests.
- Select the options menu (three dots), then Export.
- Select Alert me when complete.
ROLLER exports a .CSV file containing multiple points of guest data, including zip codes.
