Sell cashless cards, top up balances and accept cashless card payments at POS — all without leaving ROLLER. Works across Sacoa, Amusement Connect or Intercard, with every transaction tracked in one place.
Before getting started
You can sell cashless cards online, at POS or from Venue Manager.
- You must have an account with one of our cashless card integrations: Sacoa, Amusement Connect or Intercard. You can only connect with one cashless card provider.
- To sell cashless cards through an online checkout or POS, you must first create a cashless card product, then add it to an online checkout or a POS menu.
- You can also bundle together your cashless cards with party packages or sell as optional upsell items for any product type.
Sell and assign IDs at POS
- From POS, select the cashless card menu.
- Select the type of cashless item the guest wants to purchase.
- Scan or manually enter the card ID number (eg Sacoa, Amusement Connect or Intercard RFID).
- Select Continue. If you're selling a custom amount, you'll be prompted to enter a cash amount before proceeding.
- The cashless card details appear at the top of the cart.
- (Recommended) Select Add guest to save the guest's details against the card. This lets you look up the card quickly if it's lost or misplaced.
- Select Pay total.
- Complete the transaction in POS.
Assign physical cards to pre-purchased booking
When a guest has already purchased a cashless card product online or over the phone via Venue Manager, you can assign a physical card to their booking at POS when they arrive
- From POS, search for and select the booking item for the cashless card.
- Scan or enter the physical card ID number.
Top up existing balances
- From POS, select the cashless card menu.
- Select the top up amount the guest wants to buy.
- Scan or enter the card ID number for the guest's cashless card.
- Select Continue. If you're topping up with a custom amount, you'll be prompted to enter a cash amount before proceeding.
- Existing balances appear at the top of the cart. The existing balances shown are the amounts before the top-up value is added.
- For Intercard cash amounts, existing bonus cash appears in brackets, for example, $19.00 ($13.50). If a card has no existing balances, a label indicates the card has no value.
- There is no bonus cash value for Amusement Connect, only bonus credits, which is managed by the Amusement Connect system based on the price the guest pays.
- Time balance top-ups won't show up in POS for Amusement Connect. This is because Amusement Connect does not support showing time balance top-ups until the initial time balance has expired.
- Select Pay total.
- Complete the transaction in POS.
Check balances
- From POS, select Search.
- Select the Cards tab.
- Scan or enter the card ID number.
- Select the card ID in the search results. The guest's name will appear with the card ID if the name was entered at the time of purchase.
- The existing balances appear.
- For cash amounts, any bonus cash for an Intercard integration appears in brackets, for example, $19.00 ($13.50). If a card has no existing balances, a label indicates the card has no value.
- In Amusement Connect, bonus credits are automatic discounts applied when a guest spends over a set threshold. Because they're calculated and controlled inside the Amusement Connect system, ROLLER doesn't display or manage them.
- Time top-up balances using the Amusement Connect integration won't show up at POS as Amusement Connect does not show time balances until the initial time amount has expired.
View Sacoa card history and activity balances
When you look up a Sacoa card at POS, two additional tables are visible alongside the card balance:
- Activities — shows all game entitlements loaded on the card, including the activity name, valid from and valid to dates, and remaining quantity. Activities are called HyperPassports in Sacoa.
- Card history — shows past transactions for the card, including the date, operation type, counter and amount.
