The activity center is a central place to manage notifications and tasks such as responding to guest booking inquiries and emails. You can organize, schedule, and assign tasks to your team members, as well as customize notification settings so that staff only get the notifications that matter to them.
Types of notifications
There are currently four types of notifications that are sent to the activity center.

New inquiries | Manage guest inquiry form submissions, such as for corporate events, weddings or educational school visits, from custom forms created in ROLLER and linked to from your website. |
New guest messages | Get timely updates on replies to emails sent from booking and guest activity streams in Venue Manager, with direct access to the booking details and guest history. |
Tentative booking cancelation | Monitor tentative bookings close to expiration to prompt guests for payment, making sure no booking opportunity is missed. |
Banned guest alerts | Respond quickly when banned guests book via the online checkout. Notifications are automatically sent when a guest email address or phone number matches a guest flagged as banned in ROLLER. |
Customize notification settings
Notification control allows you to streamline activity center notifications for you and your staff, making sure everyone receives the alerts they're responsible for actioning.
You can choose which staff roles have access to each notification type. By default, all staff roles (system and custom roles) are selected to receive activity center notifications.
For specific notifications, additional customization options are available.
- New inquiries: Choose to send these via email, either in addition to or instead of activity center notifications. Select recipients from your pre-set venue contacts or booking/inquiry emails in Venue settings.
- Tentative booking cancelation: Adjust when you receive these alerts in the activity center. The default is 24 hours prior.
To customize these settings, from Venue Manager, go to Settings > Notifications.

Use the activity center
From Venue Manager, go to Activity center.
- You can sort notifications into To-Do, Snoozed, or Done. To-Do tasks are divided into New, Due, and Viewed, with a label for overdue tasks.
- Hover over a notification to quickly mark it as done, snooze it for later, or assign it to a team member.
- Mark as done moves notifications to the Done category.
- Snooze for later temporarily shifts notifications to Snooze and brings them back to To-Do when you've scheduled to see them again (eg tomorrow, later this week, this weekend, or next week).

Assign to a team member lets you pick a team member to respond to the notification.
- To view more details or take action, simply select a notification.
New inquiries
From the activity center, you can manage new inquiries from guest form submissions and convert them into bookings.
Select a message to:
- Review guest form submissions on the right.
- Select Create a booking to make a booking from the form submission.
- Email guests from the booking's activity stream.
New guest messages
You can quickly respond to guest replies to emails sent from booking and guest activity streams. What you can action here depends on where the email was sent from.
Sent from booking activity stream
For guest replies to emails sent from the booking activity stream, select a message to:
- Read the guest reply.
- View message history.
- Check booking and guest details in the right panel.
- Go to the booking by selecting View booking.
- Go to the guest record by selecting View guest.
Sent from guest activity stream
For guest replies to emails sent from the guest record activity stream, the message is not associated with any booking. Select a message to:
- Read the guest reply.
- View guest summary details (eg memberships) in the right panel.
- Go to the guest record by selecting View guest.
- Create a booking by selecting Create booking.
Tentative booking cancelation notifications
Select a message to:
- Check booking and guest details on the right.
- Go to the booking by selecting View booking on the right. You can request payment or extend the cancelation deadline from there.
- Visit the guest record by selecting View guest.
Banned guest notifications
Select a banned guest alert to:
- Check booking and guest details on the right.
- Go to the booking by selecting View booking on the right.
Find specific notifications
- Use the search box to find specific notifications in To-Do, Snoozed or Done.
- After assigning tasks to staff, select either your avatar or a staff member's avatar at the top of the activity center to see only the assigned notifications.
