- Find the channel that has the largest average booking size and investigate why.
- Take note of the channel with the smallest average booking size, which may indicate smaller or more frequent transactions.
- Look for any patterns in booking sizes based on seasons or months to make adjustments to marketing and pricing strategies.
Access the report
The permission Can access Analytics is required to view dashboards and reports. Administrator and manager system roles have this permission enabled by default.
- From Venue Manager, go to Analytics > Reports.
- Search for and select Revenue by hour of the day.
Interpret the visualization
- The report uses a bar chart to show the average booking size for each sales channel per month.
- Each bar represents a month, and different colors are used to distinguish between the sales channels.
Regularly monitor to compare booking sizes across channels and track changes over time.
Filter the report
The report comes with pre-set filters that can be customized for a more focused analysis.
- Select Filters at the top left of the report page.
- Review and understand the default filters currently applied.
- Modify the filters using drop-down menus, calendars and entry fields.
- Remove filter values by selecting the X to the right of a selected item.
- Select Run to update the report with the new filters.
Any changes to filters are temporary and will revert back to default upon reopening the report.

| Booking Created Date | By default, this shows bookings created in the past 30 days. You can adjust the timeframe or date range using this filter. |
| Booking Status | You can use this filter to view data for bookings with different statuses. The default is Fully Paid or Partially Paid bookings. |
| Booking Cost | With this filter, you can set a minimum booking cost threshold to include only bookings above a certain cost in the report. |
