If the same add-on is linked to more than one product, guests who add several of those products to their cart used to see that add-on suggested again for each one. Now you can configure an add-on to appear only once per day across checkout, no matter how many products in the guest's cart share it.
How it works
When Show add-on once per day is turned on for an add-on, ROLLER only suggests that add-on once per guest, per day, even if multiple products in their cart are linked to it. This applies across the whole checkout, not just within a single product's add-on suggestions.
How to set it up
Go to checkout settings in Venue Manager to set this up for each add-on you wish to enable it for.
From Venue Manager, go to Apps, Progressive checkouts and open the settings (3 dot menu) for the checkout you want to update.
Go to the Products tab.
Scroll down to the Add-ons section, and next to an add in select Edit.
Select Show add-on once per day.
Select Apply.
Repeat for each add-on.

Frequently asked questions
Does this remove the add-on from checkout entirely after it's shown once?
No. It stops the same add-on being suggested again and again across multiple products in one day. The guest can still purchase it if they want to but it just won't be re-suggested.
Do I need to turn this on for every add-on?
No, it's optional per add-on. Turn it on for any add-on that's linked to multiple products and where repeated suggestions would feel repetitive to guests.
Does this affect POS or Venue Manager sales?
No, this setting is specific to add-on suggestions in the online checkout.
