For new and improved features with setup guidance, see What's new in ROLLER: September 2026. For API updates, see the API changelog.
Bookings
Block capacity across a date range in one entry, plus fixes to booking balances and booking pages.
New Block capacity across multiple dates
You can now block capacity for a date range in one entry instead of one per day, for multi-day closures like renovations or maintenance. Under Bookings > Blocked Capacity, choose Between instead of On in the Date field.
Fixed in this release
Editing a package ticket price to $0 could fail to update the booking balance, so the full price was still charged.
The Cancel booking? warning could display incorrectly on company-linked bookings.
A canceled and refunded booking could incorrectly show as overpaid.
Admin-only form fields could disappear on booking pages when Bookings Details V2 was enabled.
The daily capacity booking flow could fail to auto-attach minimum tickets for session pass field trips.
Food and beverage
Send items to the kitchen display when you choose and see kitchen order status at POS.
New Sync kitchen order status to POS
Venues using the cloud version of Fresh KDS can now sync order status from the kitchen to POS, so staff can update guests without checking with the kitchen. Status shows per order rather than per item, and needs some initial setup in Fresh KDS. Available on Premium plans and above.
Improved Kitchen display printing matches physical dockets
Printing or reprinting from POS or Venue Manager is now the single way to send items to Fresh KDS, so you control when orders reach the kitchen (eg for future bookings). Existing Fresh KDS venues move to this workflow, and reprints show a clear reprint label. Available on Premium plans and above.
Fixed in this release
Dockets for QR code mobile ordering could intermittently stop printing while POS sat on the PIN lock screen (this release adds a new locked printing mode).
HQ
Fixes to discount configuration, option sets, cashless bundles and settings pushed from HQ to managed venues.
Fixed in this release
The redemption instructions section could be hidden in discount configuration when Upload codes was selected.
Option sets could fail to copy from HQ to managed venues, so package inclusions could display incorrectly for new HQ-controlled variations.
Arcade cashless card bundles could fail to save at venue level in HQ-controlled venues.
Booking reminder emails could default to on at the venue and ignore the HQ setting when HQ products were added.
The Hide from online sales setting could incorrectly cascade to all variations on publish, instead of HQ-controlled products and variations following the HQ setting on create.
The checkout call-to-action could display for HQ products that weren't available in a controlled venue.
Integrations
New Headout OTA integration
ROLLER now supports the Headout online travel agency (OTA) integration through OCTO.
Memberships
Find out why members cancel and have guests sign booking agreements by QR code at POS.
New Capture and report on reasons for membership cancellations
You can now ask members why they're canceling, online or in Venue Manager, and track the answers in the new Membership Cancellations report and Membership Cancellation Rescue report, so you can see why members leave. Turn it on with Ask members for a cancellation reason under Settings > Memberships.
New Deliver booking agreements by QR code at POS
When a guest signs up for, upgrades or downgrades a membership at POS, they can now scan a QR code to review and sign the booking agreement on their own device, which keeps sign-up moving at the counter. No setup is needed, and SMS and email delivery are still available.
Fixed in this release
The option to add a membership to Apple Wallet could be missing from the confirmation email.
The members grid empty-search state could incorrectly suggest that no members existed at all.
A membership discount configured via a product tag could apply $0 instead of the configured amount.
Online accounts
New Signed documents, past bookings and policies in online accounts
Guests can now view the waivers and booking agreements they've signed, their past bookings, venue policies and product terms and conditions in their online account, so they can find answers without asking your staff. Available on Pro plans and above.
Online checkout
Fixes to pricing and availability across checkout types.
Fixed in this release
A stock item add-on could incorrectly enforce a minimum quantity requirement on mobile checkout.
You could incorrectly add multi-pass products to legacy checkout.
Progressive checkout could calculate an incorrect price for consecutive sessions products.
Standard pass availability could display incorrectly in progressive checkout.
Party packages
Fixes to editing party package bookings and their meal selections.
Fixed in this release
You could be unable to edit party package bookings after release.
Meal selection could show No selection after you increased and then decreased a package quantity back to the original value.
The Add resource button could be missing from the party package program screen for venues using the Conqueror integration.
POS
Record a reason when voiding stock and see more of your venue in capacity view.
New Require a reason code when voiding stock items
You can now require staff to select a reason code when they void or refund stock items on a booking at POS, for an auditable record of why stock was removed. Voided items appear in the new Stock movement report. Available on Premium plans and above.
New Show multi-booking resources in POS capacity view
You can now show multi-booking or shared resources alongside single-booking resources in POS capacity view, so front-of-house staff can see the whole venue in one place. Choose them on the Capacity view tab of a POS device or device template.
Improved POS capacity view visual updates
Booking tiles in POS capacity view now show booking status at a glance, with new tile colors, the booking name, party and ready-to-start icons plus payment, redemption and sales channel details. Zoom and gridline spacing are now separate controls.
Fixed in this release
Multi-pass product expiration dates could display in a non-localized date format on POS.
POS could intermittently flag staff PINs as invalid after a timeout or logout.
Products
Improved Longer session pass variation names
Session pass variation names can now be up to 256 characters, so you can use longer ticket names.
Stock
Improved Accurate margin and profit for tax-inclusive venues
ROLLER now calculates margin and profit on net revenue (what you keep after tax) in the Stock sales report and the All stock view for tax-inclusive venues. Figures for tax-exclusive venues don't change.
Improved Wastage overview report is now the stock movement report
The Wastage overview report is now the Stock movement report, and it now includes voids made through the refund process at POS as well as wastage. Available on Premium plans and above.
Other fixes
Fixes to emails, gift card and revenue reporting, Venue Manager, tickets and waivers.
Fixed in this release
Emails: Product terms and conditions could fail to render in the multi-pass details email template, even when enabled.
Gift cards: The Value Sold figure in the Gift Card Sales report could change when sold gift cards were later redeemed.
Reporting: Revenue reporting could leave incorrect deferred revenue on past bookings.
Venue Manager: The left navigation could gray out and become unresponsive after you completed an action from the booking overflow menu.
Venue Manager: Accessing the Roadmap could show a blank page.
Tickets: Removing and re-adding a ticket with a consecutive session duration could result in an incorrect price.
Waivers: Waiver submissions could accept a future date as a date of birth.
