Why is the total amount of a recurring membership higher than expected?

Problem

The total booking amount of a recurring membership is higher than the product variation's recurring price set up in Venue Manager.

Explanation

Every time a guest is charged the cost of their recurring membership, that cost is added to the booking total. This creates a running total over the course of the membership for each subsequent charge.

You can find every payment for a recurring membership under the Payments tab for the booking in Venue Manager.

Discounts can be applied to the first month of a membership, leading to an amount that may not be a simple multiple of the base price of the membership.

Follow the steps below to identify the separate charges of a booking for a recurring membership.

Steps

  1. From Venue Manager, select the Search bar in the top-left corner.

  2. Search using the booking name or ID number.

  3. Select the booking in question from the search results.

  4. Select the Payments tab on the booking. A list of payments received for the recurring membership will appear here.
