This guide shows you how to update the resources attached to bookings in Venue Manager.
To update other booking details, such as the booking holder's information, booking date, order items or forms, refer to the guide Modify bookings from Venue Manager.
Update resources in an existing booking
- Search for the booking you want to update in Venue Manager.
- From the booking details page, select the Order tab.
- Select the Edit resources button at the bottom of the order table.
- In the drop-down menu, you'll see all resources associated with the product in the booking.
- Select the new resource and select Apply.
- If a resource in the drop-down menu is greyed out, it means that it is unavailable at the time of the booking, so it cannot be selected.
Update resources for a list of future bookings
Scenario
You made changes to your party product booking. Originally, a party started with 30 minutes of jump time and 60 minutes in the party room. You have now changed this so that guests can use the party room from the moment they arrive, without having to wait until they finish their jump time.
You already have party bookings, and you would like to change the structure of all upcoming parties to follow the new setup.
- Get a list of all upcoming bookings and export it from the bookings grid view.
- Adjust the date filter to Within the next 1 year, and use the Product filter to search for only the party product.
- Make sure the booking status is set to Booked and you include all booking hosts.
- Using the exported list as a reference to update the resource of each booking (see section above).
