This guide is only for gift-card-only venues. Redemptions for gift-card-only venues can be managed by Venue Manager if you're not using passcodes or an integration.
Find the gift card
- From Venue Manager, go to Products > All Products.
- Select the gift card product, then select View gift cards.
- From here, a list of all gift cards will be displayed. You can edit which columns you want to display by clicking the settings cog or adjust what order they appear in by dragging them to reorder columns
- Select the Search field and type in a name or gift card number and press the magnifying glass icon or enter button on your keyboard. It will show all records matching what was typed
- Select the options menu (3 dots) for the gift card, then select View gift card from the drop-down menu.
Search using the booking ID
Search for the Booking ID in the global search bar. Select the booking to open it and select the Items tab. From here, select the options menu (3 dots), then select the View item option.
Manage redemptions
Select an item from the booking's gift card items tab and then select the edit icon (pencil) at the top of the right-hand panel.
You can edit the balance. Reduce this amount by deducting what the guest's spending from their total balance and input the new amount into that field.
Add a comment if you would like to make a note of what was redeemed against the gift card amount.
Once you're finished, select Save.
