Bulk assign custom ticket IDs in Venue Manager

Assign sequential custom ticket IDs across a booking's tickets in one action, instead of editing each ticket individually. Use this option for large group bookings where manual wristband assignment can take hours. This guide shows you how to bulk assign and bulk remove custom ticket IDs from tickets.

To complete this task, the role permissions Edit bookings and View bookings are required.

Assign custom ticket IDs in bulk

To assign custom ticket IDs to a booking's tickets:

  1. From Venue Manager, find and open the booking.

  2. Open the Items tab.

  3. Select Edit custom ticket IDs.

  4. Under Product, choose the product these ticket IDs apply to. If there are multiple variations, please select one.

  5. Select Assign custom ticket IDs.

  6. Under Ticket ID range, enter a Start ID, then either an End ID or a Quantity. Custom IDs can be alphanumeric (eg TICKET01, TICKET02, TICKET03).

  7. Select Assign ticket IDs.

  8. Select Save.

  9. Repeat with other products or variations in the booking.

Remove custom ticket IDs in bulk

To remove custom ticket IDs from a booking's tickets:

  1. From Venue Manager, find and open the booking.

  2. Open the Items tab.

  3. Select Edit custom ticket IDs.

  4. Under Product, choose the product you want to remove IDs from.

  5. Select Remove custom ticket IDs.

  6. Under Ticket ID range, choose how to remove the IDs:

    • All tickets reverts every ticket in the selected product to its system-generated ID.

    • A specific range removes only a chosen subset. Enter a Start ID and either an End ID or a Quantity, the same way you would when assigning IDs.

  7. Select Remove ticket IDs.

  8. Select Save.
