Get started with cashless cards

Connect a cashless card provider to ROLLER so guests can preload value onto a card, tap to play, and spend their balance on food, drinks and tickets — with every transaction tracked alongside your other bookings and sales.

ROLLER connects with three cashless card providers: Sacoa, Amusement Connect and Intercard.

Before you start

All plans (except Legacy)

Our cashless card integrations are available on all plans except Legacy. To enable this feature, contact your customer success manager or the support team.

Each venue connects with one cashless card provider only. You can't run two providers at the same venue at the same time.

ROLLER API access is not required to use cashless card integrations.

What you can do

All three integrations give your venue these capabilities from day one:

  • Sell cashless card products online, in-venue or bundled in a party package.

  • Assign card values to physical RFID cards when guests arrive at POS.

  • Load cash, time or activities on cards.

  • Accept the card's cash balance as a payment method at POS.

  • Top up existing card balances at POS.

  • Check card balances at POS.

  • Assign a range of sequential cards to a large group booking in one action.

  • View a card's full transaction history at POS.

  • Bundle multiple card variations into a single product and assign them all to a card in one scan at POS.

Sacoa

Sacoa is a cashless card and game management system used across FECs, trampoline parks and attraction venues worldwide. It supports cash, time and activity variations, card history, balance merging and automatic kiosk sales sync into ROLLER.

Amusement Connect

Amusement Connect is a cloud-based cashless card system for arcade venues, available to venues in the US and Canada. It supports cash, time and activity variations.

Intercard

Intercard is a global cashless card provider used across arcades, FECs and bowling venues. It supports cash, time and activity variations, card history and balance merging.

Set up, sell and manage cashless cards

Once your integration is connected, these guides cover everything you need:

HQ venues

If you manage multiple venues from an HQ account, you can create cashless card products once in HQ and share them with managed venues. This keeps products consistent, reduces duplication and simplifies updates across locations.

HQ product sharing is available for Sacoa, Amusement Connect and Intercard integrations.

To enable the cashless card integration for your HQ venue and managed venues, contact your customer success manager or the support team.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use more than one cashless card provider at my venue?

No. Each venue connects with one cashless card provider. You can't run Amusement Connect and Intercard at the same venue at the same time.

Can I let guests use their cashless card balance to pay for things other than arcade games?

Yes. Guests can use the cash balance on their card to pay for food, drinks, tickets and merchandise at ROLLER POS. Bonus cash and points can't be used for these purchases.

Can I sell cashless cards online before guests arrive?

Yes. You can add cashless card products to your ROLLER online checkout so guests can purchase before they arrive. Staff assign a physical card when the guest arrives at your venue.

Do cashless card sales appear in ROLLER reporting?

Yes. Every card sale, top-up and card payment is recorded in ROLLER alongside your other bookings and transactions.

What happens if a guest loses their card?

Staff can look up the guest's card record at POS. If the guest needs a replacement card, staff can merge the original card's balance onto the new card. Balance merging is available for Sacoa and Intercard.

Does ROLLER support cashless card kiosks?

Sacoa kiosk sales sync automatically into ROLLER once the sync is enabled for your venue. Kiosk support for Amusement Connect and Intercard isn't currently available.
