What types of access gates are available?
Alvarado has a full suite of products to suit the leisure and attractions industries such as:
Scannable pedestals
Turnstiles
Scannable gate or door entry
Many of Alvarado's products can be used in a fixed or portable configuration. This means you can move access gates to different areas of your venue. For example, you can use the same gate device for both entry and exit (by changing its orientation or placement).

What types of ticket validation are supported?
Alvarado supports any type of validation credential used in ROLLER, such as:
RFID (mobile, printed ticket and wristband)
Ticket barcodes (printed and digital)
Ticket QR codes (printed and digital)
Do the gates support multiple entries through the gate?
So long as the product allows multiple redemptions, yes. This includes memberships or standard passes with this setting enabled. Session passes are single entry only.
How much do access gates cost?
The price of access gates varies depending on your needs and location. Barrier-free pedestals can be purchased from $4,000 USD. For more information, contact Alvarado for a demonstration.
Are there any other fees or charges?
The Alvarado integration uses an API connection to ROLLER, so ROLLER API usage charges apply.
API usage for access control is 1 API call per scan.
