This guide describes security controls implemented on ROLLER sites to block malicious internet traffic and steps to rectify if you believe you have been blocked for no valid reason.
Overview
ROLLER has implemented a web application firewall (WAF) service that detects, logs and blocks insecure activity such as bad reputation IP addresses, tor, SQL injection or a malicious pattern being detected. This malicious internet traffic is blocked before it can damage your sites.
Security error message
When the WAF service blocks internet traffic, users (eg staff, guests) see the following security error message:

If you encounter this security error message and you believe this is in error, please contact support. Include in the support request a screenshot of the error message, the page URL you are trying to access and your IP address.
