Introduction
When a booking is created in ROLLER Karting, guest names may initially appear as placeholders in the schedule. These names update automatically when tickets with attached waivers are processed at POS, then synced with the schedule to display guest names.
Cause
If guest names aren't updating as expected, the connection between the device and ROLLER may be disrupted. ROLLER attempts to re-establish this connection automatically, but this process isn't instantaneous. As a result, driver names can remain as placeholders until the connection is fully restored.
Solution
Manually reconnect ROLLER Karting by editing and re-saving the existing ROLLER integration. This reinitializes the connection between the devices running ROLLER Karting and POS for real-time updates.
Reconnect ROLLER Karting to ROLLER
Follow the steps below:
From ROLLER Karting, go to Settings > Integrations & Advanced Setup > Integrations.
Select the pencil icon next to your existing ROLLER integration.
Select Save at the bottom of the dialog. This manually resets the connection to ROLLER.
Confirm that a success message appears at the bottom of the screen.
If you don't get a success message, try reconnecting from a different device, or reach out to our support team.
