Bulk edit
A tool that lets HQ update product details (eg name, price, tags) across one, multiple or all managed venues in one step. Saves time and reduces errors.
HQ checkouts
Checkouts (eg online bookings, food & beverage ordering) created at HQ and shared with managed venues. Updates made at HQ sync automatically to all venues using that checkout. Learn more
HQ discounts
Discount codes created in HQ and assigned to venues or venue tags. Managed venues can’t edit them, making sure promotions and pricing rules stay consistent across the group. Learn more
HQ-managed roles
Custom or standard staff roles created in HQ and shared with managed venues. HQ-managed roles can be assigned to staff at any venue, but only HQ can edit them. Updates made in HQ apply instantly across all venues using that role. This ensures consistent staff permissions and reduces admin overhead. Learn more
HQ POS templates
Centrally managed POS templates created at HQ. When updated, changes automatically flow to all managed venues using that template. Learn more
HQ products
Products created in HQ (eg tickets, passes, sessions). They can be shared with one, many or all managed venues. Updates are pushed out using Bulk edit, so all venues stay consistent. The original product in HQ remains the master product, which you can revert managed venues to whenever needed using Bulk edit. Learn more
HQ schedules
Centralized schedules for HQ products, created and managed in HQ. Schedules can be applied to individual venues or schedule groups, and they automatically adjust to each venue’s operating hours. Learn more
HQ stock products
Food, beverage or retail items created in HQ. Shared with managed venues so they can sell them locally. Learn more
HQ venue
The central account that manages multiple venues. From HQ, you create and distribute shared items — such as HQ products, stock, POS templates, checkouts, discounts, tags and permissions — so all venues stay consistent and easier to manage. Learn more
Managed venue
An individual venue linked to an HQ venue. Managed venues receive shared assets (eg products, stock, templates, checkouts) and may have limited editing rights depending on HQ venue and staff permissions. Learn more
Product tags (HQ tags)
Labels applied to products or stock items to group them (eg jump passes, drinks). Tags make it faster to add products to POS templates and checkouts. Updates to tags flow through automatically to all venues using those tags.
Product tags are different from venue tags. Venue tags decide which venues can access a product, POS template or checkout. Product tags group products (eg “pizza,” “drinks”) to organize them in POS templates and checkouts.
Schedule groups
Groups of venues created in HQ to manage HQ product schedules together. Schedule groups let you apply the same HQ product schedule to multiple venues at once while still respecting each venue’s local operating hours. Each venue can only belong to one schedule group. For example, create a schedule group for your East Coast venues or for your Brand A locations so you can publish the same schedule across that group in one step. Learn more
Staff groups
Staff groups created in HQ to manage staff access across multiple venues. Staff assigned to a group can switch between venues they have access to, making cross-venue operations easier to manage. Learn more
Staff permissions
Access settings applied to individual staff accounts at a venue. They control what a staff member can do (eg issue refunds, view reports, close tills). Different from venue permissions, which apply to the entire venue. Learn more
Tags page
A central page in Venue Manager > Settings > Tags where you can create, rename, delete and manage tags in one place. Ensures tagging is consistent across all products and venues. Learn more
Venue permissions (HQ venue permissions)
Settings created in HQ that define what managed venues can access or change (eg create/edit products, configure POS templates). Venue permissions are applied by assigning venues to a permissions group.
-
System permission groups: Two built-in venue permissions groups you can’t change:
- All permissions — full access to all features
-
No permissions — no access to any features
- Custom permission groups: Groups you create in HQ (eg Franchise venues, Owner-operated) to apply consistent rules. Any changes to the group automatically apply to all assigned venues.
Venue tags
Labels used to group venues (eg by region, franchise, or ownership model). Used to target which venues should receive certain HQ products, templates, or permissions.
Venue tags are different from venue tags. Venue tags decide which venues can access a product, POS template or checkout. Product tags group products (eg “pizza,” “drinks”) to organize them in POS templates and checkouts.
