Introduction
You may notice that a time slot in the bookings calendar shows more redeemed tickets than the available capacity for that time. This can look like the session is overbooked, but this behavior is expected.
Why this happens
The calendar displays booking-level ticket totals, not the number of tickets assigned to a specific session time.
When a booking includes tickets across multiple session times, the calendar shows the total number of tickets in the booking on the first session time. This ensures the booking is visible on the calendar, even when tickets span multiple times.
Example
A booking includes:
8 tickets for the 12:00 PM session
4 tickets for the 2:00 PM session
The calendar will display 12 tickets at 12:00 PM, even though only 8 tickets are scheduled for that session.
How to confirm tickets by time slot
To view the exact ticket count for each session:
- From Venue Manager, go to Bookings > Calendar.
- From the Add products selector at the top right of the calendar, choose the products you want to display. If no products are selected, the calendar will remain empty.
- Select the booking’s initial timeslot on the day.
- Select View booking.
- Select the Order tab to view the tickets purchased and their associated times.
