In this guide, you’ll learn how to resolve issues relating to the management of your Linkly integration.
Payments have stopped working
You have a green Linkly symbol and payments have stopped working
See Check that you have a green Linkly symbol for how to confirm the icon.

Check the ROLLER Connect Legacy settings file and ensure the TerminalType value is set to
TerminalType = "PCEftpos"..gif?version=1&modificationDate=1577074778174&cacheVersion=1&api=v2&width=600&height=400)
- Restart the POS device. Wait until the Linkly icon returns to green before testing again.
- Follow steps 1–3 in the Test the integration section of the Linkly integration guide.
If this fails, contact your bank or Linkly support to determine why the device cannot log in to the Linkly servers.
You have a green Linkly symbol and a test card gives "FAILED - Processor error"
- Select the green Linkly icon to open the popup and check the Printer field.

Ensure the correct printer name is entered in the field. See the Merchant receipt printing section for full instructions.
If the device is not connected to a printer, enter NPT in the printer field instead of a printer name.
You have a yellow or red Linkly symbol and payments have stopped working

Manage merchant receipt printing
You want the merchant receipt to print through my receipt printer
- Find your receipt printer name:
- Open Windows Settings and go to Printers & scanners.
- Select the receipt printer you want to use.
- Select Manage, then select Printer properties.
- Copy the exact printer name shown in Properties.
- From the POS desktop, select the up arrow (Show hidden icons ^) in the system tray and select the Linkly icon.
- In the Linkly popup, paste the printer name into the Printer field.

Select Apply.

You want the merchant receipt to print through my EFTPOS machine
- From the POS desktop, select the up arrow (Show hidden icons ^) in the system tray and select the green Linkly icon.
- In the Linkly popup, type NPT into the Printer field.

Settle card terminals
Settlement closes out your card terminal’s daily transactions so your bank can reconcile deposits.
To settle from Linkly:
- From the POS desktop, select the up arrow (Show hidden icons ^) in the system tray and select the green Linkly icon.
- Select Ctrl Panel.
- Select Settlement.
- Select Settle.
- For automatic settlement setup, contact your bank for instructions.
