List your tickets on the travel sites guests use to plan their trips, with every online travel agency (OTA) booking coming into ROLLER. OTAs sell from your ROLLER availability, so they can't sell a session you no longer have.
Advanced channel management add-on
OTA connections are part of the advanced channel management add-on, which also includes the reseller portal. Available on all plans with the add-on. To add it, go to Settings > Integrations in Venue Manager and select Request upgrade, or contact your customer success manager or the support team.
Before you begin
Have these ready before you start:
A supplier account with each OTA you want to sell through. Most OTAs need a separate account for each venue.
If you already list on an OTA through another booking system, allow 3 to 5 business days for the OTA to move your connection to ROLLER. Most OTAs won't connect to two systems at once.
Choose which OTAs to connect to
Each OTA has its own supplier account and setup guide.
OTA | Where it sells | Create your account | Setup guide |
|---|---|---|---|
Viator (and Tripadvisor) | Tours and activities. Viator is part of Tripadvisor, so your Viator listing also appears on Tripadvisor. | ||
Tiqets | Museums, attractions and cultural sites. | ||
Klook | Tours and activities, with an Asia-Pacific focus. | ||
GetYourGuide | Tours and activities, based in Europe. | ||
Civitatis | Tours and excursions for Spanish and Portuguese speakers. | ||
Trip.com | Attraction tickets, tours and local experiences on its website and app. |
Set up an OTA connection
Do these in order. Your OTA's setup guide has the exact steps and who to contact.
1. Create your supplier account
Sign up with the OTA using the link in the table above. Use the same business and contact details you use in ROLLER, so the OTA can match your venue when it maps your products.
2. Activate the OTA in Venue Manager
From Venue Manager, go to Settings > Integrations > Channel partners, find the OTA and select Activate. An API key displays on the screen. Copy this to send to the OTA in step 4.
The permission required to activate an OTA is Can access external services settings. Administrators have this permission enabled by default.
3. Set up your products for OTA sales
Create a new product for your OTA sales, as a session pass or standard pass. Set each variation to tax inclusive, then turn on Sell and enter a Sale price and a Revenue price. For session passes, create schedules first. Only scheduled sessions show on the OTA.
A separate product lets you control OTA availability on its own. To hold back part of your capacity for OTAs, give it its own resource as well as your main venue resource.
4. Send your API key to the OTA
The OTA maps your ROLLER products to its listings in its supplier portal, including pricing, product settings and categories. Take any mapping questions to the OTA.
GetYourGuide uses a Settings tab instead of an API key. Its setup guide covers it.
5. Test and go live
Bookings can arrive as soon as mapping is done. Make a test booking via the OTA website, then check that:
The booking shows in ROLLER with the right details.
It appears in the Booking Item Sales by Channel Partner and Product Sales by Channel Partner reports.
Cancelling it on the OTA cancels it in ROLLER.

|---|---|
Sell isn't available on a variation | The variation is set to tax inclusive. |
A session isn't showing on the OTA platform | The session is in a schedule, and the product's booking dates, sale periods, exclusion periods, resources and quantity settings allow it. New availability can take up to an hour to show. |
A guest sees that a time slot is no longer available | Availability changed in the last hour. The guest picks another time. |
You can't archive a product sold on an OTA | Sell is turned off on each variation. |
You can't refund or change an OTA booking | The OTA manages it. In ROLLER you can cancel it, add POS notes and edit the booking holder's guest record and ticket details. |
OTAs and the reseller portal
Both features require the advanced channel management add-on.
OTAs (Online Travel Agencies): Marketplaces like Viator, GetYourGuide, or Klook connected via automated API integration. Guests search, select, and pay for tickets directly on the OTA website, and the OTA remits payouts to your venue.
Reseller portal: A dedicated B2B booking channel for partners you have direct commercial agreements with (eg tour operators, hotel concierges, local travel agents). Resellers log into your custom portal configured and shared from ROLLER to book on behalf of guests, using agreed pricing tiers and payment terms (eg credit account, or pay on arrival).
To compare feature details and reporting, see Reach more guests with channel management. To set up reseller accounts and custom pricing, see Get started with the reseller portal.
