Multipass activity dashboard

Prev Next

See whether guests are coming back to use the multi-passes they bought. This Analytics dashboard puts passes sold and sessions redeemed side by side, broken down by product, so you can tell the difference between a pass that sells well and a pass that gets used.

A multi-pass is sold once and used across several visits, so sales figures on their own don’t tell you whether guests returned. Redemption is the signal that the pass is doing its job.

The permission Can access Analytics is required to view dashboards and reports.

How to access the dashboard

  1. From Venue Manager, go to Analytics > Dashboards.

  2. Select Multipass activity.

The dashboard shows data related to the multi-pass product type. If you don’t sell multi-passes, the dashboard will not display any data.

Actionable insights

  • Compare sales against redemptions to see whether a pass is driving repeat visits or sitting unused in guest accounts.

  • Compare pack sizes to work out which quantity guests commit to, then price and promote accordingly.

  • Use redemption volume to plan capacity, since redeemed sessions are visits you need to staff for.

Dashboard views

The dashboard has two views. Choose a date range, then read them together.

View

What it shows

Multipasses sold

The number of multi-passes sold and the revenue for each product.

Multipasses redeemed

The number of individual session redemptions against those passes. For example, selling ten 10-session passes creates up to 100 possible redemptions, tracked as guests use them over time.

Both views break down by product, so you can compare how each multi-pass product is performing.

Keep in mind

  • Sold and redeemed use different units. One pass sold represents several possible redemptions, so the two numbers aren’t meant to match.

  • The date range applies differently to each view. Multipasses sold counts passes sold in the timeframe you selected. Multipasses redeemed counts redemptions that happen in that timeframe, even if the pass was sold earlier — so redemptions can outpace sales in a given period if guests are working through older passes.

Filter the dashboard timeframe

  1. Use the date filter at the top left of the page to set the timeframe. You can choose from preset days and timeframes, or select specific dates and date ranges.

  2. Remember to select the update icon to refresh the data.

  3. Your filtered results display.

Modifying these filters will only temporarily affect your current view and will not affect the filter settings of other users.

  • The next time you load the dashboard the default filters will return.

  • Or, you can select the options menu (3 dots) in the top right, then choose Refresh filters.

FAQs

Why don’t sold and redeemed numbers match?

They measure different things. A pass sold is one purchase; a redemption is one session used against it. A single 10-session pass can produce up to 10 redemptions, so redemptions will usually be the larger number once guests start using their passes.

Why are redemptions higher than sales for the timeframe I selected?

Redemptions are counted when they happen, not when the pass was bought. If guests are working through passes they bought before your selected timeframe, redemptions in that timeframe can exceed sales.

Does the revenue figure include the sessions guests redeem?

No. The revenue sits with the sale of the pass. Redeeming a session draws down the pass balance rather than creating a new sale.

Where do I see an individual guest’s remaining visits?

Not in this dashboard — it reports at product level. A guest’s remaining visits and expiry date are visible in their online account, and to staff in Venue Manager and POS.
