When to use the Mobile Check-in app

The mobile check-in app is best for fast, flexible guest check-ins, including redeeming tickets and any already assigned waivers, when you don’t need to process payments, create new bookings or link waivers to bookings. Use it for:

  • Line busting – Reduce wait times by checking in guests away from the front desk.

  • Big events – Speed up entry for large crowds by checking in guests at multiple locations.

  • Party and group arrivals – Quickly confirm reservations without needing a POS terminal.

  • Outdoor or remote check-ins – Check in guests at secondary entrances, VIP areas or event spaces.

  • Waiver verification on the go – Confirm if waivers are attached and send requests for missing waivers. Note: You can only view completed waivers linked to the booking via matching email addresses. You cannot assign waivers in the Mobile Check-in app.

For anything that requires creating bookings, booking changes, linking waivers to bookings or payments, use ROLLER POS instead.

Key considerations

Keep these points in mind for a smooth check-in experience:

  • Check-ins only – You can’t create new bookings in the app, only check in existing reservations.

  • Waiver checks differ from POS – The app shows if waivers are attached to a booking (based on the email used for signing), but you can’t link waivers to tickets like in POS.

  • Send waiver requests – If a waiver is missing, send a request from the app. It defaults to the guest's booking email. If no email is assigned, it sends an SMS to the guest’s phone.
